Wrapped XRP goes live on Solana, broadening DeFi access

Wrapped XRP (wXRP) is now live on Solana as of April 18, enabling XRP holders to deploy their capital in Solana-native DeFi protocols for the first time. The integration is custodied by Hex Trust and distributed across major Solana applications: Titan Exchange, Real, Phantom wallet, Jupiter aggregator, and Meteora. CoinDesk notes this is part of a broader multichain push for XRP, which historically sat outside DeFi due to the XRP Ledger's different architecture. Early data shows roughly $1.2 million in wXRP already minted, a modest but clean start. Ripple-linked trading pairs are expected to expand liquidity over coming weeks.
