1. Token detail page
Shows: current price, 24h/7d/30d change, market cap, FDV (fully diluted valuation), circulating supply, all-time high/low, exchange pairs. Critical metric: FDV vs market cap — if FDV is 10x market cap, huge unlock supply coming.
2. Exchange listings
Shows where a token trades, with volume and spread per pair. Useful for: verifying a token isn't only on one sketchy DEX, finding best price.
3. Trending page
Shows what retail is searching for. Often leading indicator of meme-driven moves. Caveat: not alpha, just where attention is concentrated.
Things to check before buying any token
- CoinGecko's verification badge (blue check)
- FDV / market cap ratio
- Top 10 exchanges it trades on (avoid if only on unknown DEXes)
- Market cap > $10M (below is illiquid, hard to exit)
